My Story

Dionisios “Dio” Favatas leads digital marketing, data management and advertising and marketing technology initiatives for the award-winning truth® public health campaign. He is responsible for implementing and analyzing online, social and digital media activities and leveraging text messaging and email marketing across all consumer mobilization efforts. An industry-recognized leader and digital marketing innovator, Favatas, in September 2017, he received the American Marketing Association’s “4 Under 40” Emerging Leaders award, the previous year named to Direct Marketing News “40 under 40” list, and was ranked 13th in Onalytica’s Top 100 Digital Content Marketers.

Digital Transformation Change Agent

2020 - Present

In my new role, I am leading the insourcing strategy of our programmatic media, social media, search marketing, and YouTube marketing. I am architecting the rebuild our AdTech and MarTech stack to future proof the go-to-market activations of the award winning truth® campaign. I oversee CRM and audience framework data structures, and biddable media activations, while engineering our identity resolution processes.

2015 - 2019

Served as the lead strategist and principal architect behind truth initiative’s life-saving brand, truth®. Driving change as a thought leader, my principal objective was to establish a digital vision that promotes long-term, personal relationships with teens and young adults and holistically complimenting multi-channel campaigns. My work ensured the brand’s success as a top lifestyle brand while simultaneously delivering behavior-changing results.

2014 - 2017

Served as an external advisor to aid RenovatingHope - a nationally recognized nonprofit providing home rebuilding assistance to America's armed forces veterans - in various aspects of digital, social media, email marketing, public relations and corporate communications. Fundamental goals are to elevate RenovatingHope's brand awareness and fundraising initiatives.
